Free prizes for you!

Thanks so much for your interest in adventurous middle grade and young adult historical fiction. As you know, book 2 in my Whitcomb Discoveries series came out in March. I’ve shared Video Scene Reveals on my Facebook Author Page  of places I visited in CA that relate to the book. Prizes go with these posts! Today I’m posting Video #6 Scene Reveal, Jim’s Merced River Trading Post.

If you comment on any of the 10 posts, you will be entered in a drawing at the end of all Reveals to win both a copy of California Trail Discovered and Yosemite Trail Discovered. The more you comment, the better your chances!

Also, those who comment on specific posts will be entered into a drawing to win either a bookmark or a polished rock from that video’s location. Comment as many times as you’d like on all posts until the end of the contest when the winners from each post, and a grand prize winner will be announced.

Thanks to all who have voted for in the cover contests for my two books in the Whitcomb Discoveries series.  Yosemite Trail Discovered took 19th place in the May AllAuthor contest.  This month, California Trail Discovered’s cover has been nominated for the June cover contest. So far, it is #54 with 23 votes. Could you help and vote once each week in June, starting today, to help move California Trail Discovered’s cover to the #1 slot? Also, please share the link below with friends and ask them to vote to help move up the numbers. Remind them to vote each week in June. The numbers will be cumulative   https://allauthor.com/cover-of-the-month/

If you have friends who like historical fiction, they can get a free story that relates to my upcoming novel, Underground Scouts, to be released September 2022. Have them sign up for my newsletter  (tinyurl.com/52z9jupe) and they will receive a copy of “Halina, a Scout Hero.” It’s a true story of one of the Scouts mentioned in my upcoming book about Scouts in Poland during WWII. If you already receive my newsletter and would like a copy of the story, email or DM me and I’ll send it to you.

What summer plans do you have? We went to California in March and Ohio in May. On the way home from Ohio, we had an “Ark Encounter.” Pretty amazing! In honor of that visit, I’ve included some Noah jokes.

Our summer plans include a season-long staycation, enjoying our pool with our grandkids, son, and daughter-in-law. Come on over and join us for a BBQ and swim!

Send pics of fun places you visited this summer that you’d let me share in our next newsletter.
