I just read an advanced copy of this lower elementary middle grade book and thoroughly enjoyed it. Kids need real-life heroes that made decisions at ages they are when they read the book. It moves quickly, keeps the reader interested, leaving them wanting to read more. Well-researched, this entertaining book will be an asset to any personal or schoollibrary. As an award-winning author and middle school teacher, I highly recommend it.
